The Eagles Bunkhouse lies less than half a mile from the world class Penmachno Bike Trail, 5 minutes drive from The Marin track and 45 minutes drive from Coed-y-Brenin.
We have a secure bike lock-up and hose down area adjacent to the Bunkhouse, and what better way to finish off a hard day in the saddle than a pint in The Eagles bar?!

Penmachno Mountain Bike Trails
Maintained by the community group Menter Bro Machno, the Penmachno Bike trails encompass 30km of breathtaking forest terrain set in stunning Snowdonia scenery.
The trails can be ridden in a series of individual loops, or in one challenging combination of all.The continued upkeep and maintenance of the trails, depends solely on contributions, so you are requested to "pay back your dirt" via donations to an honesty box. There is also an honesty box in The Eagles bar.
Check out the Penmachno Mountain Bike Trails website to get more info, or download a PDF document of the trails from here. -
The Marin Trail
The Marin Trail lies just a few miles away, sitting in the forest above Betws-y-coed and Llanrwst.
